The Greater Columbia Fuel Cell Challenge
The Fuel Cell Challenge is a business plan competition to identify and bring to market innovative technologies and applications in hydrogen and fuel cells. Winners receive up to $200,000 in seed capital, commercialization support, and access to incubation facilities to make their vision a reality. Winners must be willing to start or relocate their business to Columbia, South Carolina.
SC Launch
SC Launch, a program of SCRA, was created to facilitate applied research, product development and commercialization programs and to strengthen South Carolina's knowledge economy by creating high wage-earning jobs. The program provides entrepreneurs with key tools for success to build technology startups, providing high potential companies with mix up-front counseling, facilities, ongoing mentoring, and seed funding from $200,000 up to $1 million depending on the company's developmental stage.
